| The Blue Knights of
Illinois Chapter II were formed in the 1970's by officers at the
Elgin, IL police department. Since that time the chapter has
increased (and sometimes decreased) in membership. Today's Chapter II consists of officers from Elgin, some of them charter members, as well as departments ranging from Algonquin to Montgomery. Given the distance between these towns Illinois II moves its meeting location on a monthly basis. Though "Ken and Di's Our Place" in South Elgin is considered our home base we do look for the most desirable venue on a monthly basis; vary rarely will our meetings be more than a couple of miles from the Fox River. |
